I have only seen that ball pivot on slat six truck bell housings. I don't know if that really matters other than the ball pivot clutch fork is longer than the A-body fork. That long fork might make linkage alignment an issue.
I completed the conversion 2 weeks ago. I ended up having to find another bellhousing because the truck one would not work. Im trying to sell the truck bellhousing...
