It is and it isnt at the same time. He is physically 12 but high functioning on the spectrum and as such is a bit delayed so think 9-10 years old mind wise. He does get frustrated on things rather quickly and he complains a LOT about most everything and everyone. He has no "filter". If it pops into his head, out of the mouth it comes. I try to blow it off, and just tell him to go in the house and leave it all there, then come back outside. Not in my shop with that crap. But on weekends when my wife is at work, it kinda sorta gives him something to do with me. Boredom is a big thing with him. He cannot seem to entertain himself.

Today he was freaked out because of a single wasp starting to build a nest near the back door to the house. I had nothing chemical wise to kill it instantly like carb or brake cleaner, and told him if you leave it alone it will leave you alone. That I would kill it later. Of course he acted like we were all gonna die from this lone wasp. He called it a she. So i asked him how he knew it was a female wasp. He said it's got long legs and a big butt. So I started singing "Baby got Back". I asked him if "she likes big butts and cannot lie". Of course that made him wail even more about it. I finally knocked it down with starting ether, and knocked the beginnings of the nest down with a broom. My wife got home from work, and he was sobbing saying I was torturing him. Such is life. Maybe tomorrow I will ask him if he "likes big butts and cannot lie" LoL. Or maybe not. I am spending the whole day with him after all.
