My search for a shorty D100 is over
Tonight I installed the Bouchillon performance torqueflight throttle pressure and throttle cable bracketry (very nice, quality stuff), I replaced the VSS in the tail shaft and got a mph readout on the display and figured out that I had the 5v reference from the trans controller to the tps wired to the wrong pin. I got everything working perfectly during testing so it was time to drive it. I spent about an hour pissing off my neighbors driving up and down my street tuning on it and made great progress. The controller and trans respond to every change I make and it’s pretty easy to get it to do what you want. As of now I have 3 nice crisp forward shifts (haven’t gone fast enough for OD or lockup yet) that get harder with throttle, and are soft while cruising. The shift timing needs a little work and the throttle percentage gain needs a little work. I give the controller a 10/10 so far. I couldn’t be happier with it. My interior guy assured me this morning that my seat will be finished on Friday (you’ll like my temporary seat) so that will be a last minute install. Looks like the little white D100 will make the Saturday wedding deadline after all.
