It's a '64 block with V273 code stamped into it. It was just a weak stamp on the 2. Those early timing covers had the extra bolt hole to match the early blocks. It was decided that the extra bolt wasn't needed, so, it was deleted on the newer castings. The block casting numbers changed in '67 where they used both the casting number 2806030 and 273-? on the side of the block above the starter.
