Running 225 slant six engine, 904 trans.

Well based on your ad, there are too many unknowns.. I looked up Jasper and they don't sell slant 6's on their website. Also, I'm guessing the owner bought a rebuilt short or long block (unknown) from Jasper and installed it themselves or had Jasper install it. But the engine looks more crusty than my 50 year old engine, but the papers in your photo look brand new... Did Jasper sell reman engines 50 years ago? I don't know... Also you dont mention what the miles or the trans is, auto on the floor, auto on the column, 3 speed manual, etc... And also what the previous poster stated, what comes with the prices is confusing... I'm not saying you're trying to pull anything sneaky, I'm just trying to get a grip on exactly what's being sold. :steering:
Jasper will reman ANY engine you want. There's not enough bandwidth on their site to cover all that they do. They are one of the biggest engine reman companies in the world. He's provided Jasper paperwork with their part number. Do you think he's making it up? We just had a 235 Chevy done. They didn't have one. We had to send them our old one. You act like the guy is trying to get one over on somebody, when all he's trying to do is sell a good running slant six for a price FAR cheaper than you could ever build one for. With your attitude, you'll never find anything, because you're stuck on ONE YEAR and you pick everything apart. It's a 400 buck engine, not 4000. It's buyers like you that make sellers not want to sell a damn thing.
