Coming up on a year since I bought this thing..
Did you weld up the notch they mistakenly cut in the rear of the shifter hole where the boot screws on. They copied the hump from one that was sent to them which had that notch cut in for an aftermarket shifter. Makes that back screw almost impossible to find metal for fastening. The boot should have two rings with 8 screws.
