Damn-it Carl! That ain't gonna work!
I bought these headers several years ago from another member, while accumulating everything for my "on-going build," (10 years in) I've had the headers on the engine several times while it was on an engine stand with no bell housing. I have since finished building my test run stand and the engine is ready to start up for the first time, when this evening I find out the headers "ain't gonna work." There is interference with the bell housing and clutch linkage. I bought the headers as presented to fit the /6 and my 1965 Barracuda. My Barracuda was a factory 225 and a 904 automatic. I elected during the ongoing build to go with a 833. Is this where things went South? Are these headers for an automatic application? What headers will correct my issue?
