Ya, we're back on as of Thursday night, Son right next door, but on a different grid, got his back Friday. Father in Law just a bit further down the road got his back yesterday. I burned about $400 in premium running the gennies on and off. More on than off as we had the Granddaughters here for the first 4 days. Wife's old man burned about $300 in diesel for his. Son next door, living alone, just running his in brief runs to power up the furnace, about $200 for the week. Lots of folks finding out that their 20KW Generacs burn $100/day in propane and ran their tanks dry, and the delivery truck couldn't get to them with trees down. No genny then and no propane left for the furnace anyhow! Why I don't have one and have three fireplaces... we also burned about a face cord of hardwood.
