Most likely it is aligned. These trucks and ramchargers from that era are famous for the steering box issues causing the steering wheel to be off centered slightly when aligned correctly. Mostly due to wear in the steering box. You have three options: reset the splines at the box, or pull the wheel and set it straight level. Option 3: get a new box entirely.

That and wagon suspension, twist truck through a ditch one way, steering is off, or the other way and its back. If my truck would drift slightly right if i let go of wheel im fine with it. Its the crown in the road causing it. Cant make em perfect,crown, road condition(ruts) and wind are contributing factors to how they roll down the road.
