8.8 swap questions

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a few questions. I read the other post about the 8.8 swap but I found it a bit difficult to fully track all the questions and replies. Here is my info: 1974 Duster original slant six manual 3 speed on the floor. Swapping in an early 1970’s 360 (motor is stock except for a cam that is a little bigger than a 340 factory cam) and a 4 speed from a 1975 Duster. I like the idea of the 8.8 swap as I am on a budget and it seems like a good upgrade over the 7.25 that’s currently in my car.
1) the local u pull it has these explorers 1999, 2000, 2002, 2004 & 2016. Can any of these be used?
2) does the 8.8 have to be shortened? It’s not going to be driven hard (no drag strip or full throttle launches)
3) can the Duster driveshaft (slant six) be used if it is the correct length? If not should I also take the driveshaft from the donor vehicle

Thanks for any and all help, advice and suggestions
