Scat Pack 4 piston Brembo calipers and rotors

I’m so glad you brought this thread back up. This is where I first saw your spindle and got me thinking about it myself. That rotor is big, which one is that?

That's the 14.2" Scat Pack rotor. It made sense to me because it was deeper than the Mustang rotor, .2" bigger in diameter and Mopar. :)

Not saying the Scat Pack setup was the best choice, only some of the reasons I decided to go down that road.

I’m curious, what did you base the spindle geometry on? Stick abody, FMJ?

I based the geometry on the F-Body spindle.

With the Mustang hub, does it push the track width out at all?

The S550 hub actually pulls the wheel mounting surface in about 7/16". I am sure I could push it out some and get it closer to stock, but it would probably make the spindle heavier and it already weights more than an F-Body spindle (if memory serves).

One you’ve mounted your spindle with an 18” wheel and the control arm, how much talker can you go?

I think I could push the UBJ up about 1", but dropping the lower balljoint becomes an issue with wheel clearance pretty fast. It's one of the reasons I (and others) have stepped up to 18" wheels, those can use much wider wheel and more offset. It's really the only way to fit a bigger tire under the front and keep it in the fender. So dropping the LBJ compared to the hub would start to reintroduce that problem pretty fast.

If I’m tracking with what you’ve done so far, we need to figure out rotor, caliper, and dial in ball joint pick ups?

In my mind, the next step would be to map the control arm mounting points and see how things look for that.
