When you mentioned the 500 HP 327 I couldn't help but think of Grumpy's discussion about oil winding itself around the rotating assembly. I fabricated a perforated windage tray for my 340 in an effort t see any improvement in oil scavenging, but I haven't needed to swap out a motor yet. Who makes the scrapers for your application.
