Offset shackles hitting upper mount...

trim the mounts where they hit the bracket? with weight on the springs, I believe the shackles should be at a 45 degree angle. will they hit the frame at that point? brackets upside down or switched side-to-side? it's been so long and I don't have any here to look at to see if this is a concern.
