I've run a similar set up with no splash shield in the Uk for the last 20 years an no problems what so ever. if its a fair weather car it will be fine without....drive creeks and fords and on the beach maybe not
mine is all home brewed piece of angle clamped to the dizzy body with a big hose clamp and the hei module mounted on it.... if there had a been a nice product for mounting at the time i would have had it, my skills in this area are strictly "bodge It" give me a hacksaw and i can make a mess .... Looks like a great solution from halifaxhops... makes it look like a proper professional job.
here is the grotty filthy mess in 2002 at the start of the journey...when you are 30 you don't care, as along as it runs. ...notice my one special rocker.... :). that coil was a bad move... proper hei one used in later years, you live and learn
