Fender tag decode (new member)

This is what I come up with on the first 5 digits on the vin, the rest don’t matter…
V- Valiant
9- premium 8
B 2dr hardtop
5- 1965
9- Canada
The second digit 9 seems to tell me it’s a 273 commando engine it would seem.
