As gssdemon pointed out there's very little wicker bill at the back of the spoiler so the down force won't be that much. Third. The struts have quick pins that go thru the strut rod and tube that let's you quickly pull the clips and lift the trunk lid. But, then you have to line up at the same time 4 rods into tubes to close the trunk. Their a tight fit. I'm a simpleton. Here's my street secret weapon. Hand hydraulic pump behind the seat, hydraulic gauge on the center console, 10 ton hydraulic ram mounted on the pinion snubbed perch. Pump the handle, watch the gauge. I can see when the snubber on the ram hits the floor and preload the rear end. Hooks like a 4 link.
