I mean really what are your options. If you're not wanting or unable to do the work than you will need to hire out. If you have a good relationship or feel comfortable with this gentleman then I say it's a fair deal. I would ask him to guarantee his work of course, schedule it and just move forward to something else. Just my opinion. Good luck.
