When I put the new master cylinder in I noticed that the housing didn't cover the hole in the firewall.
Not wanting water or anything else getting in I chose to cover it up.
Without pulling the master I put the fiber gasket in first (cut bottom open).
Placed a sheet metal piece in.
Then the foam.
Finally the master
