Day 1: Lompoc – North Las Vegas
Once again I am taking the car on a road trip to Oregon. This time I’m taking an extra couple days to see some new places. For the most part day one was routes I have taken before, nothing special. Some time ago I plotted and alternate route from Barstow to Las Vegas to avoid the chaotic traffic on I-15. 60 miles of 2 lane road with almost no traffic, you can’t beat the scenery.
