Whenever I can I like to get off the beaten path and take the path less traveled, sometimes my trips are more about getting somewhere. Some of these places I have been through, some I plan to check out more. Either way I probably see more than most people I know.

My dad grew up in Huntington, OR. To him, Baker was "the city". Don't know if you passed through Huntington on your route.

I was on I-84 that bypassed it sometime in the 80s, that is the sort of detour that I love to take when I know about them.
