Got a great streak going until I ran out of welding wire and fresh metal stock. The passenger rear is about 98% finished. I’ve shifted to the front, cut out the old subframe connector mount, and plan to fab a new boxing plate that ties into the subframe connector. The rear of the connector will pass through the new stamped frame rail and be pre-welded to the leaf spring box for maximum structural integrity. I’ll also rosette weld the connector to the frame where it passes inside. Still a lot left to do, but it’s rewarding to see that 2 ¾ inches of inboard movement come together.
