I never had stock heads ported/rebuilt...but I think machine shops are out of control. I can only see spending that on a # numbers matching 440 6-pack or hemi.
Edelbrock RPM #60925 setup for hyd. roller is $967.50 each (x2 = $1,935)
TFS 240 CNC TFS-61617802-C00 hyd. roller is $1,399.99 each (x2 = @2,800)
I think the weight saving and additional power potential is worth it.
