I had a black Chow named cuda, that dog was tougher than wire but great with kids. I got him from a shelter he looked like crap half of his fur was gone but his confirmation was great and I could tell he was a purebred. It took a while before him and my Malamute golden retriever mix could settle their differences Bodie was the Malamute mix he went over a hundred pounds easy but that chow would not take one step backwards and finally they just got tired of the doggy drama and we're totally cool with each other. Two more very good dogs.
