Went to pick up my short block and the machinist asked me what heads I'm running . I told him EQ Magnums and he said I can’t because my pistons have quench pads that stick .040 out of the hole…urgh…. Did not notice that . So he is going to cut .040 off the pads. Actually works out better be ause I can just run .040 head gaskets and have better quench .
I assumed they were same piston as my W2 408.
