Ahhh...reminiscing about the "good ole days!" I'll play too!
Bought my 69 Charger in 1978 for $1500. 383 car from the classic "little old lady." 32k miles (has 49k now). It didn't look too different than it does now in this pic other than it had those "deluxe" wheel covers. I have recently started what I expect to be a 2 year resto on it.
Bought my 71 Demon 340 in 1984 for $3500. 34k miles (has 38k now). I essentially paid sticker price for it when it was 13 years old. And glad I did!
It looked very much like this 1st pic that was taken when it left for it's body/paint resto in 2019. Of course the drivetrain was in it and the hood on it but you get the picture. I bought it as a running/driving car that needed very little but I wanted it to be much better hence the resto.
