Power Steering Issue locks in full right position

You caint just rip these old girls apart on a whim and do things. Even though they're old and very simplified from new vehicles, there's still a procedure for every operation. What I recommend is to get over to mymopar.com and download a free copy of the factory Dodge service manual for your car. That way, you will have a full instruction manual for future repairs. I don't see a 72, but they have a 70 and that will work fine for what you are doing and probably for most things. There may be some differences in wiring diagrams and such. What I always recommend is to hit ebay and get a first edition printed factory service manual. Here is one.
