Picked up a 72 Dodge Dart Custom 4 Door with a neat repaint
Thank you all for the replies!
Figured I'd update this quick. Been replacing/fixing a few small things & just cleaning up the car with what I can. This era is a bit new to me but the mechanical knowledge of this car is fairly straightforward.
So far I've greased all fittings, oil change, fuel filter, air filter, plugs, starter (original was having issues), ballast resistor (preventative maint.), belts, a few vacuum hoses, side markers (2 of 4 were broken), both front & rear driveshaft u-joints, trans output seal, new trunk seal, e-brake handle, dash cover, got both temp & fuel gauge to work by just cleaning up the rear contacts on the gauges & I ended up replacing the original 1920 Holley carb with a reman unit. We couldn't fix a fuel leak out of the carb & it had a few other issues. Found a reman Holley online which made the car run like new. I think it had old gas & hadn't been driven in a while.
I've put about 400 miles on the car so far. It's so fun. Still needs a few more small items. Might need a new front wheel cylinder but I'll just replace both. I also found out I have no dash lights! That was fun.
