Will....I used one of the dealies in the link below to fix the plastic dash top on my Dakota a while back. Big flat piece of plastic with the defroster vent in it, busted into 3 pieces as I tried very gently to pop it loose. A buddy of mine gave me this thing because he had 2. It has the little squiggly wires, where you put the ends in the gun, hold it against the plastic and pull the trigger. The squiggly wires get hot like a stove eye and melt into the plastic. You stop letting it sink in halfway thru and let off the trigger. I used it on the backside of my Dakota dash piece, which broke fairly clean, just into multiple pieces. I'd have to point it out to you on the dash or you wouldn't see it. The tool would be good to join pieces together, but you'd still need to do the acetone slurry to do the finish work on the front since you're working on something where it matters instead of a ratty Dakota.
