Reminds me of when I ditched my Harley after a heavy rain...come to think of it I rode that thing in a hurricane once it was raining sideways. Anyways it was the same I needed tires...I slid off the blacktop on a corner and into mud went right down...things like this happen and its usually fast and unexpected.
I had one of those days on the Honda CB750 back when I was not afraid of a little road rash! Gave that up in the early 80's after a particularly scary oscillation at 120mph, was telling JESUS if he let me survive this
I will park it and get rid of it! I was wearing shorts and a tee shirt with sandals. The gas tank was well indented from my knees squeezing tight! I was able to gradually slow the bike down, returned home never going more
than 40. The bike was gone in 2 days!
