Frustration...Quarter Window Regulator

Thanks. Yes, there are angle brackets that bolt in to stop the window in the "up stroke". They stop the window at the top when you're raising it. What I'm looking for is what stops the whole apparatus at the bottom when you;re lowering the window. That's where the regulator gear doesn't seem to have a firm stop and it allows the roller to pop out of its track.
