Well, won’t be racing anytime soon

If ever.
Long story short noticed oil pressure low last outing last year( couple test and tune hits in October.
Fresh oil and filter, started it up cold, seemed OK, put it away.
Got it out this year, got some temp in it, oil pressure was back to lower than normal, not good.
Get the pan off, good bit of the timing chain tensioner is laying in it, bearings are shot, rods and mains, rotor scored up in the oil pump. All in all not a happy day today.
So now I have decisions to make( just retired first of June)
1. Fix it
2 sell it as a roller
3. Sell it with top end, headers, trans and convertor included

This all sucks big time!
Shitty, I too have suck luck.
Also, have to work 7 days a week to pay bills because my wife is having a hard time finding a job.
Your car is a way easier get back together and race it vs mine....mines not finished.
In my opinion, if you love racing then put the thing back together and get after it, you only live once , no regrets on the last day is how I see it.
