Must be a Northeast thing ..when we go deep we always go in quick so we don't mess with the other guy., thats our courtesy. I roll in at rpm ( 2,000 ) all in one motion , I don't stop at the pre stage but bump into it and the final stage bulb. Your class looked tempting to me awhile back but the no deep staging kept me from attending. A few of the tracks I run at you are allowed to put deep on the window so your opponent and the starter know. At another track I was told to take it off the window . fine by me ! a few guys I beat told me I didn't know you were going deep ! If I am running a friend I will tell them . It did bite me in the butt last year though , I went in deep it must have thrown the other guy off as he took forever to stage and I lost my concentration and lost. Very few of the class champions across all the classes shallow stage . I use the rules to my advantage .. I am foot braking against I would say over half the cars in the class that have two steps and trans brakes in both pro dial and 11.50 index .
