He seems to be a factory type guy if the factory didn't build a performance version then it can't be done. Plus it seems like he thinks you can still get complete 340 for next to nothing.
I don't know of a 318 guy that wouldn't take a 340 if they were both priced about the same....
Like I said before, a 340 is now the collector guys engine or a certain class of racing engine. At least that's what the price reflects.
