Helping a friend locate his 1969 Barracuda fastback.
35 years ago, my buddy Dave sold his black 1969 Barracuda Formula S fastback. Dave had stayed in contact with the buyer( Steve Curtis) in Delton Michigan up till last year, when he lost contact. He just discovered the buyer had passed away last year. Steve's sister was in charge of his estate and sold several cars, one of which was Daves old fastback.
The car is a black on black, 340 Formula S, 4 speed, with red pinstripes, center lines and a scoop. Last Dave knew, the car had a 6-pak intake and air cleaner installed. Unknown if the center lines are still on the car. Dave and Steve had an agreement that, if Steve ever decided to sell, Dave would get first chance. Dave is currently recovering from prostate cancer surgery, and would LOVE to be reunited with the car, even if the present owner does not want to sell. Dave is just trying to keep track of the car. Any info on this car would be greatly appreciated.
