Reason I’m asking. I started final assembly on my 440. Turned it over on the engine stand to put the oil pan on, heard something loose. Found what appears to be a junk of the cylinder wall in the water port on number 1. :BangHead: Keep in mind, I had this block “professionally” machined and sonic checked… been sitting on my stand waiting for the cam shaft I’ve been saving for. Finally get that and now this.

Luckily I have a spare 440 block.

Yeah thats too bad. I wish we were "small enough" to do the special projects here and there, but we've simply grow to such a size, and use so many all new components/blocks, we just cant do the rebuild part anymore. Good problem to have at the end of the day.
