From what I have read i think you’re right. I have a 6.4 cam in mine right now. Was originally planning on keeping the VVT and running a factory style pcm and harness. Now I’m going carb and thinking about the timing set that Blackbird sells, the crank gear has different timing marks ( keyway) to advance or retard timing. Wondering if it would help any with the 6.4 cam with the VVT being gone now. I know on the older lower compression big or small blocks you could advance the timing to gain some bottom end but my Hemi is 10.5 to 1 compression. I don’t know just something I was thinking about the other day.
