65' Cuda build procedure

I'm redoing a 65 Cuda and need to know what procedure for doors /interior, does the headliner go before roof rails or the other way. Any advice would be helpful. I'm getting the headliner replaced and discovered that the front and rear glass needs to come out first, so I don't want to make any more costly mistakes. I made the mistake of glueing the carpet over rear wheel wells before putting metal trim pieces in cargo area and discovered they go under carpet and under glass gasket, so when glass is out for headliner I can peel carpet back a little screw trim in and reglue carpet. any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I just installed a new headliner in my '65 Barracuda without removing the glass. I used a plastic trim tool and tucked it into the rubber glass seal. There are metal prongs that the headliner hooks to, the trim tool I used had a slight bend at the end so I was able to push the headliner in and push up and pull back until I heard the prongs puncture the headliner. The shop manual also gives instructions on doing it this way. If you are doing a show quality car, I would recommend having a professional shop do it. It is very difficult to stretch the lining and have it come out with no wrinkles, especially if doing it yourself. Mine did not come out perfect but since it is going to be a driver, I will live with it.
