What Does "Reasonable Offer" mean?

Reasonable offer to me means you are offering fairly close to the asking price. 1000.00 dollar asking price, to me offer should be 750 or more. Maybe 750 offer and settle at 850 for a selling price. Somebody offers half or less they don't get a response. :)
