Carlisle?

I admit I am a poor "people person", but when the love for a hobby, that passion, brings people together and real friendships are the result, that hobby is so very worthwhile.

Back ion the day when I went to Nats, or the few times I traveled all the way out to Carlisle, I sold parts for "wholesale" not retail, so I could pay the $ for that hard to find part! Like the time I needed the rare fresh air cleaner for a 69 440 RT Coronet. Yea different than the common 383 version. Yea even back then on those 90s $$, it was not cheap but it was still a fair price at a good retail $. I was thrilled to make my car "complete"!

Another story. Back in the early 90s, a local friends traveled form Mo. to Nats. for the first time, and his comment was " back home I see a hemi car upon occasion, but at the Nats I see them all darn day long and I get bored after awhile!"  :BangHead:
