318 or 360 - What to Build

Small cam 360 has gobs of bottom-end and midrange. Install good alloy heads and pump the pressure up, now you can rev it to the moon. With the new found torque, you can run 3.23s, for fuel economy.
Or better yet;
Find an old A833OD for next to nothing, and run the 4.10s for 65= about 2400.
First gear will be a great parade gear, and second comes to a perfect 6.85 for something around 220@050.
I have run this combo, and it was killer. At 195psi cylinder pressure, she was GREAT on fuel. I would still be running it these 25 years later, except the cam lost lobes in 2004. I've been waiting all these years for the 230@050 cam to die, so I can go back.
