The governor in mine was the same as yours. The rebuild kit gave a new gear for that, so I used it.... BTW.. I replaced the plastic cam gear with a steel one....:thumbsup:

I didn't know that a steel gear was an option. Then again, it was the pin and weights that broke (bent, actually), not the gear.

Next time, though.....
