Temp & fuel gauges - what am I overlooking?

Like the old saying goes, if you have eliminated all other options, whatever is left, no matter how improbable, it must be the answer.

I have to say..

I have fixed numerous gauge cluster problems.

If this turns out to be two faulty senders, it will be a first for me.
