Yeah, the .030 may not have been used in production , I don't know . The only pistons like these that I've seen are either the standard Commando pistons or ones that are .030 over. Someone said they had a set of these and that they were .040 over but I haven't seen them so I'm not sure of that.
I'll never say never, but I've not seen an engine that was factory original with over sized pistons. Now crank bearings are a different story. Still though, just because "I" have not seen it doesn't mean it did not happen.
