1968 dodge dart gts

In your video there is a click and the Alt meter (which registers current coming from or going into the battery) moves to about 5 amp draw from the battery.

Then there is a louder ting sound (not coming from the alt gauge) and the gauge goes to 10 amps draw


It sounds like a relay. Or maybe a circuit breaker.

There is a circuit breaker in the wiper switch, and in the headlight switch.

What has been done to the wiring?

Is the turn signal switch switched in either direction?

Is the wiper switch on?

Is the e flasher switch on?

Have you gone around the car looking for lights that are turning on when this happens?
