I agree 2k is high side negotioable Id be looking at the block is it bored can it be bored etc. Crank is it forged can it be turned down etc. a good core that still has meat on the bones etc. a good core is able to withstand 1 rebuild with machine work that means not sending it out and the shop says "its no good pitted needs a sleeve "etc. that to me is no go for the high side price. It is somewhat risky now that these engines are 50 plus years old.
