I would say $1000 would be reasonable for a complete one depending on how you want to build it. For instance, if you are planning on building a stroker, you may only use the block, main caps, timing cover and may be the oil pan. Unless it is broken, it should be sent to the machine shop for full machining. I doubt it is assembly ready even though it is in good shape.
