DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

Good info!

I can't speak for anyone else, but it never crossed my mind that a COC would change the weight distribution. I've always been concerned about the rigidity of the frame rails, but didn't think the car would fold in half. Glad to hear you haven't had problems.

Frankly, not really sure where I stand on this topic anymore. I've spent a fair amount of time looking at some theories and laying out the RC for a TB A-Body and starting to think there are so many variables and ideas that it just really doesn't matter. Take the idea of someone keeping the struts on a Foxbody rather than designing a SAL conversation because in his experience there are plenty of cars that still use struts and handle phenomenally. Or the idea that you should get your RC between 2-3" above ground while there are those that espouse the tallest BJ possible which seems to result in a RC more like 8" above ground with a F-Body spindle.

There are certainly bad designs, stuff that puts the RC below ground or binds the suspension before max stuff. But outside of those kind of things, it is starting to feel more like each one has advantages and disadvantages so work to strength the advantages and fix the weaknesses.

Maybe it's time to dump all this and jump into 4200 pounds of Dark Horse fury.
