I’m not sure what we’re referring to now. The two old articles? The first probably had x heads with a good valves job, new valves and stuff and not much else.
The article I posted was the same motor and they then swapped a set of iron heads he ported on and the rowdy MM lobe solid cam.

For the new article, if the heads were massaged a bit then that makes the AFR heads even better coz they made 63hp more with the swap.

Btw, checked the specs on the xe268, 224/230 @.050, .477/.480 lift.
That’s a pretty nice cam there…
