Shimming hydraulic slave cylinder on A833- does this look ok to you?

When fully released and pushed all the way rearward, as long as everything seat solidly on the base, and your throwout bearing is clear of the spinning clutch release fingers while the shims are fully seated, it looks correct.

Confirm you are using a spring to pull everything back to the released position (stacked together) when the clutch is released?

Confirm the angle of the shims in the center picture is just to show the clearance between the shims opening and the shaft they ride on?

Also, I very slightly lubricated the sliding assembly with synthetic disc brake grease and replaced the guide rod with a Grade 8 bolt I modified.
