If you wish to have any replacement bushing last another 50 years you'll need to service the wiper pivots. The first time I replaced the bushings in a 73 they failed again after about 3 years. I learned. After complete service I had smoother quieter wipers that never failed again. It's not a chore we want to do twice. The drivers side pivot is behind the inst panel. If you're going to pull it, ask for tips. Good luck
